A Trip to Olvera Street
Breaking from our usual nature outings, we ventured into the heart of the city to experience Olvera Street, the birth place of the city of Los Angeles.
What a blessing to be able to take our babies, toddlers, five year olds, eight year olds; all ages alike, on an off day of the week, without whistles, line-ups and name badges, without matching colored shirts; as families, as friends, as persons to experience and explore this intriguing place.

We had such a fun time with you all. You really captured our trip wonderfully (and yummy Mr. Churro's!) My favorite thing about our experience is what you said... recognizing the blessing it was being able to go as family, friends, and persons to experience it all together!
ReplyDeleteNaomi, these pictures are amazing! It looks like an incredible day. What a blessing to have a group like this to belong to.
